Your contribution will be gratefully received and 100 percent of it will go to deserving women qualified through the BCAG application process. BCAG receives more applications for grants than it is able to fund. BCAG is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization so your donation is tax deductible. Memorial gifts are welcome and acknowledged. Also a gift to BCAG can honor a living family member or friend or celebrate a special event. Please call (831) 649-6365 for information.
How does BCAG raise funds?
Because so many women with breast cancer and their families are devastated financially by their disease, there is an urgent and ongoing need for funds to assist them. BCAG seeks the support of many local organizations, businesses, foundations and individuals to provide funds to help meet this challenge. BCAG also raises funds through its annual Bowl-a-thon.
Who has helped?
BCAG is grateful to the local groups and organizations who have contributed, making it possible to assist women of the California Central Coast who have financial difficulties related to their breast cancer disease.
Primary among these groups is the Carmel Valley Ranch Women’s Golf Association which has been BCAG’s longest-time and most generous supporter. Thanks also go the board of directors of the California Rodeo Salinas for designating BCAG as the beneficiary of their Charity Night for the last four years. The Yellow Brick Road Benefit Shop has also been a long-time supporter. Among other recent donors to BCAG are Carmel Rotary, Wells Fargo Bank, Oya Salon of Monterey and many individuals.
In addition, BCAG has received grants from two local foundations – the Community Foundation for Monterey County and the Monterey Peninsula Foundation – which have recognized the need for financial assistance for women with breast cancer. Their grants to BCAG cover the organization’s operating and educational expenses so that 100 percent of other donations, such as yours, can be used to assist women with breast cancer.
Please call us if you would like to discuss a gift to the Breast Cancer Assistance Group of the Monterey Peninsula.
